Refund policy
Hello #BucketBrigader! Thank you for shopping at The Bucket Company online store. We're happy to see that you along with thousands of others continue to purchase our universal products that provide endless options when choosing how YOU want to grow the plants you love. We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expect it to be. If that happens, we want you to know what to do:
Domestic Returns Policy
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (must also be in the original packaging). If 30 days have gone by since your order/purchase, we may not be able to offer you a full refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for any logistic fees that are associated with their shipment and returns. A restocking fee of 15% will also be applied for returned online and commercial orders. Orders cannot be returned nor refunded after 90 days from the transaction date.
The Bucket Company works on being perfect, however, if for some reason you received the wrong item or a broken tool, you can contact our office for a replacement within the first 30 days of receiving your order. Simply go to our Contact Us page on the website and select the Returns drop-down menu or e-mail us at customerservice@thebucketcompany.com. In your support request, make sure to also include:
- Order #
- Full Name
- Phone Number
(This will help us resolve any issues you have much faster).
Domestic Refunds Policy
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return and refund.
If you've been approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a couple of days. (Depends on the payment processor and bank provider).
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Late or Missing Refunds Policy (if applicable)- Domestic Orders
If you're waiting on a refund or simply haven't received it yet, we ask you to follow the steps below before contacting our Customer Support Team:
- Re-check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please use our "Contact Us" page and select the Returns drop-down menu or e-mail us at customerserivce@thebucketcompany.com.
*Only regular priced items may be returned or refunded, unfortunately, sale items will not be accepted for return or refunds.*
Exchange Policy (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please use our "Contact Us" page and select the Returns drop-down menu.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item considering what happens with shipping carriers and third-party logistic services is out of our control. Whatever the case may be, we will work with each customer to ensure any and all requests have been dealt with to the best of our capabilities.
International Orders & Shipping Policy
All prices on our site, (www.thebucketcompany.com), are in US Dollars and it's likely that your credit card or bank provider will charge you in local currency in accordance with its policies. When ordering from outside the United States, you are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered are capable of being legally imported to your destination country. The recipient of international order(s), is the "importer" on record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient is also responsible for any customs duties, clearance charges, taxes, brokerage fees, and any other amounts payable in connection with the importation and delivery of the recipient's order.
International orders may take up to 7-10 business days to be processed and shipped. Once your internal order has been shipped you will receive an email with tracking information. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the shipping date for your international order to be delivered. Customs clearance procedures vary and may cause additional delays, therefore we recommend you contact your local customs office for more information before placing an international order.
To avoid any possible delays in receiving your international order from customs, we strongly suggest:
- Providing a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your product arrives in your country. (Note: This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order).
- That you do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will only hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in the destination country before they return it to the sender.
International Shipping & Refunds Policy
**ALL INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE FINAL AND WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE RETURN OF INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. (No refunds, returns, or exchanges).**
If you received the wrong item or a defective tool as part of an international order, please notify us within 30 days of your original order/purchase date by going to the "Contact Us" page on our website or e-mail us at customerserivce@thebucketcompany.com. Make sure to include the details about the incorrect or defective item as well as your:
- Order #
- Full Name
- Phone Number
(This will help us resolve any issues you have much faster).
If your order arrived incorrect or defective, The Bucket Company has the choice of either shipping you a new product, refunding you the cost of your order, including the original shipping charges. However, custom fees, duties, and taxes may still be NON-REFUNDABLE, even in the event of a customer receiving an incorrect or defective product.
**Please note we do not refund the original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs. Prior to authorizing a replacement item or possible refund, The Bucket Company reserves the right to request verification, such as a photograph, to confirm that the item shipped is incorrect or defective.**
The Bucket Company reserves the right to refuse international orders and will refund any refused international orders.
Runoff Pump Warranty
Purchase of The Bucket Company's Runoff Pump includes a full year of warranty in which customers can file a claim with our support team and get a replacement sent out if the original pump was damaged or malfunctioned in any way. The Bucket Company will not offer warranty to customers who misuse the original intent of the product. The Runoff Pump is made to be used to discharge runoff water and not to be used for extended periods of time as a reservoir or recirculation pump. Additionally, The Bucket Company will not offer warranty on pumps that have been damaged by the customer during use or misuse of the product. Shipping charges will be applied for products under warranty.
